PURE Providers

Kristen Paradise, LPCC

Kristen is a psychedelic assisted psychotherapist, and founder of PURE Therapy. Kristen provides KAP in collaboration with Dickson Psychiatric Services, to address grief/loss, identity/gender, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. Kristen is an end-of-life doula, and a past active duty military spouse, who has passion for assisting first responders, military members, and their families. Kristen believes in creating a comfortable and authentic space for her patients to explore, and find healing through inner wisdom and external support. Kristen has supported 200+ KAP sessions, is a lead therapist in Minnesota’s first psilocybin clinical trail for treatment resistant depression, and is hopeful to incorporate psilocybin assisted psychotherapy into mental health, as a standard of practice for palliative care and hospice, allowing terminally diagnosed patients an opportunity to work through their existential anxiety.

One of the main intentions of her work in mental health, is to assist individuals with feeling less alone in this world, and finding peace from within, so that it can be spread externally in one’s life. Through the process of Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP), it is her hope that those who have struggled to find something that works for them, are now able to work through some of the aspects of life, that may be blocking them from reaching their personal goals.
